Description
We offer organic Rose Alba essential oil for animals, obtained from the plant Rosa alba. Trade practice knows the product as Rose Alba organic essential oil for animals. The plant belongs to the family Rosaceae, and its industrial cultivation as an aromatic raw material takes place in Bulgaria, around Kazanlak and in Sredna Gora. The plantations in these areas are maintained organically, and their flowers provide the raw material for the product. The product owes its pure tone to water-steam distillation, and the entire volatile part that the flowers release during the extraction itself passes into the liquid. The pure tone combines with a lasting honey note, such as studies note in the scent of the white oil-bearing crop. The honey note rests on a soft and warm base, which specialised studies describe in the blossoms of this crop. In addition, the honey note lingers for a long time. The liquid is uniform, with a colourless to pale yellow tone. The tone is explained by the flowers, as their coloured substances remain outside the volatile fraction. The scent above this tone is delicate in strength, and its line remains sweet and floral, with a slightly spicy side. The sweet line originates precisely from substances of plant origin, and the organic management of the plantations determines the entirely organic composition of the finished product. The plant substances in it come solely from the flowers of the plantations in the country. Preservatives and colourants remain outside this composition. Among the plant substances, chemical studies identify citronellol, geraniol and nerol, as well as phenylethyl alcohol in Rose Alba oil.
Application
Rose Alba essential oil is used in a wide range of products for skin and aromatherapy care in pets and farm species, such as dogs, cats and horses. It is included in calming sprays for moments of stress, noise or travel, as well as in solutions for airing transport crates and bedding. In coat care, it is used in shampoos for sensitive skin, sprays for refreshing and maintenance between baths, as well as in hydrating oils that restore shine and softness to dry or flaking coats. For local skin problems, the oil is incorporated into creams and lotions for irritated areas, itching, dermatitis, post-operative care and recovery after insect bites, and in combination with carrier oils it is also suitable for paw balsams for paws exposed to hot asphalt, ice or chemically treated surfaces. Massage formulas with a supplement of it are applied to horses after training, as well as in the rehabilitation of older pets with arthritis or muscle tension. Its delicate floral aroma also makes it suitable for aromatherapy blends in diffusers intended to support emotional balance during adaptation to a new home, separation from the owner, thunderstorms or visits to the veterinary specialist. In addition, it is found in insect control products with a natural repellent effect, in agents for neutralising unpleasant odours on the coat and skin, as well as in care formulas for sensitive areas around the eyes and ears. Thanks to its organic origin and the absence of preservatives and colourants, the oil is a preferred choice in the development of veterinary and cosmetic products for animals with allergies or pronounced sensitivity to synthetic ingredients.
Storage
Store organic Rose Alba essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for animals from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
